The North Carolina CEO Forum is for executives and management teams who want to gain a competitive edge in the market. This invitation-only event welcomes business, government and non-profit leaders who are dedicated to helping North Carolina grow jobs and build its presence on the national and international scene.
The 2011 NC CEO Forum will be held on August 10, 2011 at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, NC. The event keynote address will be given by Jim Collins, acclaimed business author of Good to Great, Built to Last, and his latest work, How the Mighty Fall. The purpose of the event is to give speakers and guests a forum in which they could "gain insight, develop relationships, and participate in discussions."
Speakers and panelists share insights about the impact of the economic crisis on specific industry sectors including manufacturing, technology, retail, media, education, pharma, health care, energy as well as state government and the nonprofit sector. Keynote and panelist speakers discuss topics on leveraging Purpose, People, and Process. Presentations will focus on best practices in strategy, alignment, innovation, culture, leadership, engagement, and operational excellence.
The Forum will be preceded the night before by a cocktail reception for speakers and sponsors. This smaller gathering provides attendees a unique opportunity to interact informally with leaders in other industries that they might not otherwise have the opportunity to meet.
This is an educational event. We welcome individuals in management, executive teams, and sponsors. All attendees will receive a free copy of Jim Collins’ latest book, How the Mighty Fall.
